Classes for Children & Adults
Our children’s classes focus on movement, balance, teamwork, confidence building, self-discipline & respect for oneself as well as for others. The classes will start to focus on flexibility & conditioning of the body. There will be discussion & emphasis on academic grades & the importance of school, healthy eating habits & personal hygiene. The classes are high-energy & fast moving. The children will learn the basic strikes & kicks of Tae Kwon Do while having fun!
Adult classes focus on conditioning the body, flexibility, self-control, self-discipline, balance, respect for oneself as well as for others. Students will learn the basic kicks, blocks, strikes, stances & patterns (kata/poomsae) of traditional Tae Kwon Do. Emphasis on the details of these techniques will be greatly stressed during the class. Students will condition and strengthen their bodies at their own pace. There will be discussion & emphasis on the importance of exercise outside of the class as well as the importance of healthy eating habits & personal hygiene.
All classes are taught by enthusiastic, safety-conscious instructors and range in time based on age: 4 – 7 Year Olds - 30 min., 8 – Adults - 45 min.
